You are welcome to submit more than one nomination form.

The Outstanding Educator Award

This award is established by National PTA and awarded by Bell PTSA to an individual who has made significant contributions in their community to enhance the educational outcomes of all children or youth. An educator is not limited to a teacher and may be defined as a teacher, assistant, specialist, support staff, administrator, or community member.

Golden Acorn Award

This award is established by National PTA and awarded by Bell PTSA to an individual who has provided exemplary volunteer service to children and youth in our community. The Golden Acorn is given for continued and dedicated service. Nominees for this award include volunteers that dedicate their time to advocating for children and supporting the mission of our PTA: To create and foster opportunities that enrich and support our children, teachers, and community.

Thanks to all who have already donated books for the Bell PTSA Book Exchange!

There's still time to donate books and sign up to volunteer!

This is a wonderful way to get new reading materials into the hands of Bell students. The success of this event is contingent on how many books are donated. Our goal is to collect 1,500 books (allowing each student to take home 3 books). Please donate high-quality books appropriate for pre-k - 5th grade. Collection bins will be placed outside the main entrance.

  • Book Donations: May 28 - June 7
  • Book Pick-Up: June 11 - 14

If you're able to volunteer, please sign-up HERE.

Bell Elementary Field Day is June 13th and we would love your help! If interested in volunteering to assist in one or two of the many fun activities planned, please sign up for one of the open slots. Bell PTSA's annual Egg Drop event is on Monday, June 17 during the school day. This is an event where all K-5 students work in teams to design a device that will keep their raw egg from cracking when dropped from a high elevation. This is a great opportunity to work in teams on creative solutions. Unfortunately, the Kirkland Fire Department is not available this year, so we will work with the LWSD facilities team to bring out a boom lift to drop the contraptions.

Bell Teachers - We need to know the Egg Drop teams in your classroom and which students are on each team. Please have the students come up with their team names, then enter the information HERE by June 3.

Community Members - Thank you to everyone who has signed up to help! We still need additional supplies donated by June 6 and more volunteers to help with the event! Please sign-up HERE.

  • For anyone donating supplies, we have a drop-off area set up next to the stairs near the foyer (straight through the main entrance of the building). Please be sure to drop off the supplies NO LATER THAN JUNE 6.
  • We still have 2 unfilled volunteer slots open — please sign-up to help if you're able to:
    • Set-Up Volunteers - need 1 volunteer
    • Otter-pop volunteers -need 1 volunteer

More info about the event can be found on the Bell PTSA’s Egg Drop webpage.
