Thank you!

A huge thank you to: Laura Krishnan for chairing this event, 5th grader Layla Krishnan for putting her idea of beautifying the rain garden into action, all of the volunteers who showed up to help, Ms. Brookhart and Mr. Story for stopping by (and bringing donuts!), and to the companies who donated plants: T&L Nursery, Home Depot, Wells Medina Nursery, and Fred Meyer.

It’s time to show our appreciation to the amazing teachers and staff at Bell! The PTSA would love your help in filling up our staff room with coffee, juice, chips, drinks, and treats.

We know if everyone gives a little we can demonstrate how big our appreciation is to these incredible people we get to call our Bell teachers and staff! Simply donate an item or two and help your Bulldog write a thank you note to show how much we care! This year's Camp Out theme is "We Appreciate Bell Staff S'more Than You Know!" Each day we'll have a different surprise waiting in the staff room to show our appreciation.

The Bell PTSA’s Candyland Spring Dance is just a few weeks away. Join us on Friday, May 17th, from 6 to 8 pm at Bell Elementary for an incredible night of dancing, games, pizza, treats, raffle prizes, and more! This event is FREE to all Bell families. Weather permitting, the event will take place outdoors. In case of rain, we'll relocate to the cafeteria and gym.

Community Members:

We're gearing up for one of our biggest events of the year and we need your help! Thank you to everyone who has sign-up to help. We currently have 12 volunteer slots that have not been filled, and we still need 5 more canopies loaned to us for the evening. The Spring Dance Committee is meeting on May 8 to determine which game stations to shut down due to lack of volunteers. Please help us fill these posts prior to May 8, so we don't have to shut down some of these fun games we have planned.

Got a favorite song that you're dying to dance to at our upcoming spring dance? Let us know, and we'll make sure to pass your request along to the DJ! Song requests need to be submitted by May 8.

Popcorn Fridays 5/3, 5/17, & 5/31

PTSA Meeting 5/15

Join us on Zoom Wednesday, May 15th to vote in next year's board, approve a budget for the 2024-25 school year. Meeting link will go out via email the week of the meeting. Board members are still needed in order to have a functioning PTSA next school year. Please reach out if you are able to volunteer your time in one of these roles.

Spring Dance 5/17

The Bell PTSA will be hosting the Candyland Spring Dance on Friday, May 17, 2024, 6:00pm – 8:00pm.

This is a FREE event with pizza and refreshments
The spring dance is for all grade levels.
This is a casual event (jeans, t-shirt, etc). The attire is whatever your student would typically wear to school. This is not a dress-up event.
This event will be outdoors (weather permitting), so dress appropriately for the weather.

Half-day 5/24, No School 5/27

Half day on May 24th for students. No school in observance of Memorial day on May 27th.

Book Exchange Collection Begins May 28th

Book Donations: May 28 - June 7 Donate books at Bell Elementary. There will be bins located outside the school in front of the main entrance. Please ensure the books are appropriate for Pre-K - 5th grade and in relatively good condition.

Book Pick-Up: June 11 - 14 Students will attend the Book Exchange event during their school day. They will have the option to select at least three "new" books to take home and keep.
