Let's celebrate the diverse cultures that make up the Bell community!

Join us for Bell PTSA's Multicultural Night on Thursday, February 29, 2024, 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm. During Multicultural Night, we will celebrate many diverse cultures that make up the Bell community while learning fun facts and listening to beautiful music from all around the world. Students/families will set up tables to represent their culture or country of origin with maps, flags, pictures, and/or interesting facts.

We need at least 10 cultures/countries represented to be able to host this event. We encourage families from the same cultures/countries to collaborate to host a table. Feel free to contact the PTSA if you'd like to connect with the family that has already signed up for the country table you're interested in. This way you can share the shift with other families and enjoy the event yourself.

All volunteers must be approved as a volunteer through Lake Washington School District (LWSD).

Visit LWSD's volunteer page for more information or to apply. Your approved status is valid for two years and allows you to volunteer anywhere in the district.

This year's school play will be directed by Studio East. The students will be performing Space Pirates!

Pirates! Aliens! Space Travel! Space Pirates tells the story of Gabby, a kid who gets picked on during a school trip to the museum. Everything quickly changes when an alien spaceship accidentally beams Gabby and her classmates up to outer space. Things go from bad to worse when the alien spaceship is suddenly attacked by SPACE PIRATES! It’s only after this whirlwind space adventure that Gabby becomes comfortable in her own skin, and her classmates appreciate her for who she is.

Did you know the PTSA is the largest volunteer, child-advocacy group in the country? We sure are! And Washington State PTSA does a fabulous job working with PTSAs in Washington State to advocate with our legislators in Olympia during the legislative session. Washington State’s Legislative Session starts soon, which means it’s time to get focused! There are many ways to advocate and be part of this impactful work. We hope you’ll be part of it!

  • Attend Focus on Advocacy DayWSPTA is hosting an in-person event in Olympia on Monday, Jan. 15, 2024. Focus Day is an opportunity to meet with your elected officials in person to advocate for PTA legislative priorities.

  • Take action by signing up for the WSPTA Action Network. These action alerts are quick, easy ways to communicate with your legislators on topics we are actively working on.

  • Schedule virtual meetings with your legislators or write letters or emails.

Visit our Advocacy Page to learn more about our legislative priorities, how to find your legislators, and more.

We are looking for 3 volunteers to serve on the nominating committee to help elect the 2024-2025 Bell PTSA Executive Board.

The nominating committee helps interested community members connect with the current board to learn more about board positions and help to identify candidates for next year's board. The nominating committee will present their nominations for the 2024-2025 Board Election at the May general membership meeting.

If you're interested in learning more about serving on the nominating committee, email president@agbellptsa.org.
