President: Heather Rodgers

Heather is mom to three boys, Parker (7th grade), Coco (3rd grade) and Jacob (1st grade). She has enjoyed volunteering at Bell over the last seven years and is excited to be helping out in a new capacity as the board president this year. She loves the Bell community and is looking forward to another great school year.

Co-Treasurer: Angelica Flores

Angelica was born in Mexico City. She moved to the USA 7 years ago. She has 2 kids at Bell, 2nd and 5th grade. This is her second year in the PTSA board and third year volunteering at Bell.
She enjoys having time with family and friends. She describes herself as a kind-hearted person, lending a helping hand to others brings her so much joy.

Co-Treasurer: Mindy Levering

Mindy is mom to a 1st grader (Jack) and a future bulldog (Jamie). This is her first year on the Bell PTSA Board and she is excited to be sharing the co-treasurer role with Angelica. Mindy's dayjob is Vendor Management, but she's much happier spending time with her family at youth sporting events, hiking, watching the Seahawks, crocheting or playing games. She loves living in Kirkland and being part of the Bell community and is looking forward to being more involved in the school this year.

My name is Jamie Brown. I enjoy going to church and spending time with family. I love to help people and be there for others in what ever way I can. This is my sons 2nd year in school and my 1st year on the PTSA. I am excited to be a part of such a kind community.

Keri is mom to a 2nd grader at Bell and a middle schooler. This is Keri’s fourth year on the Bell PTSA Board. Her family loves being a part of the Bell community. Keri has a background in education and is passionate about working to enrich the school experience for students, staff, and families.

Hi, I’m Marika, mom to 2 kids one in 1st grade here at Bell and one in 6th grade at Finn Hill. I am a vocational counselor, Girl Scout troop leader and Cub Scout pack volunteer. I enjoy camping and hiking with my kids and doing various crafts. This is my first year on the PTSA board, but I have helped with the Harvest Party and the musical the last couple of years. I’m excited to help in other ways to support our students having fun activities and opportunities this year!!

VP - Student Enrichment: Blake Herrera

Blake is mom to a first grader at Bell, Kyle, and this is her second year as part of the school community. After frequently volunteering last year, she is excited to serve on the PTSA board as the VP of Enrichment. Blake has worked in education for the past 14 years and is thrilled to help bring high-quality enrichment opportunities to Bell students.

VP - Diversity, Equity & Inclusion: Lily Alvarez

Hello, my name is Lily. I am a mom to a 5th grader at Bell and a 7th grader at ICS. This is our last year with Bell Elementary, which makes us sad as we've built an amazing friends circle and close knit community with the students, parents, and staff. I have volunteered for the last three years in multiple capacities at Bell, and this is my second year as VP of DEI. In addition to my role on the PTSA board, I am handling the Pantry Packs this academic year. I myself work in higher education and believe the most valuable contribution I can give my children and community is through volunteering and being present for a joyful and prosperous school atmosphere.
