Volunteering

Share your time and help to shape your child's school experience

We welcome new and returning parent volunteers to join our events and make them successful for our students and for the school community. There are many volunteer opportunities during the school year to fit even the busiest parent schedules. Many of our PTSA ran programs couldn’t survive without volunteers and parent’s involvement benefits every student in our school. Sign up for a one time opportunity at events or join us all year in volunteering opportunities providing support for Enrichment programs like Running club and Play-Well Lego STEM as a class room Chaperon or help out at any of our committees.

For the safe of our students and staff, please ensure you are District Approved before volunteering. You can complete the Lake Washington School District volunteer application process online here.*

We are currently looking volunteers for the 2018/2019 School year activities. Opportunities include (but not limited to):

-Volunteer Coordindator
-Back to School Barbecue
-Box Tops
-Popcorn Fridays
-Picture day
-Field day
-Hearing and vision testing
-Pantry Packs
-Reflections Art Program

Let us know if you are interested in these or any other volunteer opportunities by sending an email to president@agbellptsa.org. Follow our announcements through newsletter and Facebook page to sign up for any upcoming opportunities.

Many companies offer corporate matching. Please check if your company will match the time you spend volunteering.

Thank you for contributing to the success of our school and Bell community!

* This summer, Lake Washington School District’s volunteer application system was transferred to a volunteer system developed by Raptor Technologies, Inc. Raptor is used across the nation in many school districts and is considered the industry leader.   Information for all current volunteers has been transferred into the new volunteer system. If you are still within your two-year approval window, you do not need to reapply. The renewal window opens 30 days before your expiration date. Volunteers can now renew through the district website instead of logging into Parent Access. If you are an approved volunteer, you have access to a volunteer portal with Raptor. If you are wondering when your volunteer application expires, you can find this information on your profile. Use your email address for the username and if you don’t already have a password, click “Forgot my Password.” This will help you reset the account password. When your “renewal window” opens thirty days before your application is due to expire and you should receive an email from Raptor reminding you to renew with instructions on how to do so.  Remember, this time of year we receive a large volume of volunteer applications. It can take up to two weeks to process an application.
