Registration is now CLOSED.   Fall Enrichment classes are held September 23rd – December 13th. Below is a list of our current classes.

 -- All classes have parent chaperones who are LWSD approved volunteers and PTSA members. Thank you to all our parents!

 -- Please send an extra snack on the After School Enrichment days! We'll give your child a chance to eat between the end of school and the beginning of the Enrichment class.

**IMPORTANT***: No classes the week of October 14th (Parent/Teacher conferences). No school on Veterans Day November 11th, and no classes the week of November 25th (Thanksgiving week)**

At Sponge, we see language as a passport to global citizenship. Students learn to see the world through a different lens while acquiring language skills and the confidence to use them. Sponge classes are immersion based, and taught by a native speaker using games, art, songs, stories, drama and movement to help children build language skills! We believe the best way to learn a language is to be immersed in it and having fun

Location: Eastside Tennis Center (Parents need to drop off here)

TOPs (Tennis Outreach Programs) has introduced the lifetime sport of tennis to hundreds of kids of all ages. A program designed to make tennis enjoyable and successful for kids by using age appropriate equipment, softer balls, smaller courts, an easy scoring system and fun instruction. 

**Parents need to drop off students at Eastside Tennis Center (ETC) and students will walk back to school with chaperone and tennis instructor. Parents will need to sign a waiver before starting the class. Waivers will be sent out via email after registration closes.**

Thursdays, 8:10–9:10 AM

Sessions: 10

Learn guitar in a fun group setting with a Rock 'n' More instructor. In this session we will learn parts of the guitar, reading music, chords and so much more! No prior music experience is necessary. You don't even have to own a guitar, we will bring one for each student to use for the duration of each class. 






Tuesdays, 4:00–5:30
Grades: 3 – 5

Location: 2nd grade pod open space

Sessions: 8

Students will learn about and be inspired by a variety of artists and create in a variety of mediums. Keith Haring: Pop art + clay tile, Nam June Paik: Collage robots, Giacometti-Papier Mache figure, Matisse-mixed media painting + collage and model magic monsters. 

**Art class will be held September 24th-November 19th**






Wednesdays, 2:30-3:30
Grades K – 5

Location: Gym

Sessions: 10

Each week students will have 45 minutes to discover clues, solve puzzles, answer riddles, and manipulate contraptions to complete the assigned tasks and to ultimately unlock the box to escape Snapology! Using math skills and critical thinking skills, students will be required to work together to succeed in escaping. 

Academic enrichment includes:

Math skills through the completion of riddles and puzzles, strategic thinking and planning skills, reasoning skills and teamwork participation for success.
